The Commercial's history does not disappear when Halloween ends. Year-round guided tours give guests an opportunity to explore approved areas of the building, hear its stories, and experience the atmosphere of one of Elko's most storied properties.
Explore approved areas of the Commercial's historic second floor with the lights on and a guide nearby. This shorter experience introduces guests to the building's history, architecture, former hotel rooms, documented tragedies, local ghost stories, and unexplained spaces through audio narration.
This is not a seasonal haunted-house performance. There are no staged actors, animatronics, or intentional jump scares.
Request a Lights-On TourAccess the historic Commercial Hotel after hours for a private group paranormal investigation experience. The tour may include EMF readers, souvenir Haunted Commercial Hotel flashlights, and a personal minder accompanying the group for the duration of the investigation.
This is not the regular seasonal haunted house. There are no staged haunt actors or guaranteed paranormal encounters.
Request a Nighttime Ghost TourPrivate tours and special group experiences may be arranged by advance request. Custom requests are reviewed individually and will likely run about the same price as the night ghost tours, depending on the request, group size, staffing, and building access needed.
Access to every part of the building is not promised, and all experiences remain subject to staff availability, building conditions, group size, and safety requirements.
The Commercial is a very old, multi-level building. Tours may include numerous stairs, uneven floors, narrow passages, obstacles, limited lighting, and historic spaces that were not designed to modern accessibility standards.
Only approved areas may be entered. The condemned third floor, actor corridors, storage spaces, mechanical areas, and other restricted sections remain off-limits.
